My name is Eddie Small. I'm a journalist and comedy writer based in New York City. I currently work as a senior reporter at Crain's, where I write about New York City real estate, and as a contributor at The Onion, where I write jokes about pretty much everything. I am an alum of Columbia Journalism School, the UCB Sketch Writing program and the late, great DNAinfo (RIP). I have also written for publications including WNYC, The Wall Street Journal, The Atlantic, The New Yorker and McSweeney's. I like journalism and comedy in equal measure and try to do both as often as I can, occasionally well and occasionally at the same time.
